Garden Tentacles

If the Bone Hands from last week are not enough for you, you can augment your Halloween setup with these simple garden tentacles. Any old beam or post will do, and since it gets painted anyway, you do not have to be too precious about sanding and finishing. Let me know what you think in the comments!

This one goes well with the Day of the Tentacle incense holders. It also fits the style of my garden snake decoration. You could probably combine the two to have a tentacle snaking through your garden before it comes up – possibly with an eyeball to creep people out? Added curves through the method used for the snakes would greatly enhance the tentacles’ decorative potential.
