After I published the easter frog video, Youtube user Dante Smith asked for wooden eggs in a comment. Obviously that got me thinking, and my first idea was to send him over to Izzy Swan – he recently made a jig for making wooden balls with a router, and expanded on the design to allow for more complex shapes. Maybe it could be tweaked to make eggs.
But then I thought, maybe there is more than one way to peel an easter a wooden egg. So I started experimenting – some trial and error involved here which I left in – and came out with two solutions for the easter egg conundrum. Neither one of them is perfect, but to counter that they kinda count as recycling.
This is one of my older videos. If you want to check out what I have made since then I recommend you take a look at my projects. I can also offer some weirder stuff if you are into that. And if you like what you see, please subscribe to my newsletter so you never miss a new release.
