Hydrodipping a Hideous Abomination Box

Hydrodipping is an awesome technique to give color to an object. But not just color, but also effects like marbeling (which is another name for the technique) and even a bit of texture (if, like me, you overdo it). This time, I used it to make a bland white 3d-printed box look magnificent. Check it out!

If you want to 3d-print your own box for the print’n’play you can find the files on Thingiverse and PrusaPrinter. Let me know what you think, and make sure to check out the game on Kickstarter!

Aword of caution! I made a mistake while hydrodipping my box. Is emptied it to prevent the paper inside from getting wet, but when I put it together and attached the clamps to hold it with, I did not align the insides properls. Now, the monster outline on the outside does not align when the box is filled. Better check twice before dipping the box!
