Dust collection is important. No doubt about that. But I have contemplated a number of systems and ideas to impliment it properly in my shop. After now landing on something that I hope will be the final solution for the foreseeable future, I wanted to go through the major milestones of my system in the hopes that they inspire you.
Sadly, most of what I did to my dust collection is tricky to share, because your sitiation and the systems you already have are bound to vary. I will share the twist connectors I designed, and link them here once I do. As for the Arduino sketch that governs the relais, I do not think that anything would be gained by sharing it, because I am not a professional coder and anyone who wants to do this should adapt it from the ground up to their own situation.
