Coin Stone – Stone Carving Project for Campaign Coins

I recently found myself inspired by a video from Bobby Duke where he carves a stone. This was something that frankly has never even occured to me, and I wanted to find a way to make use of it. Enter Campaign Coins, a series of coins from different metals (or at least their looks) that feature a 1 and a 20. For a tabletop roleplayer, that translated pretty much to a win and fail. And since they look awesome, I set out to make a coin holder for a set – a coin stone, if you will.

As I said in the video, the coin stone is going to be a prop in our roleplaying game. The coins will serve as keys to a divine prison, and placing them in the stone will unlock it.

If you are a returning viewer (more power to you!), you probably noticed the change in equipment in this video. I got myself a new camera that can record in 4k (although the final video is still HD) and does better audio. I would love to hear your feedback on the new style, i.e. speaking directly to the camera as opposed to a voiceover. For me, it makes editing a lot easier, so I hope I can finally get back to releasing regularly.
